Maintenance Supervisor


The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading hourly maintenance technicians across multiple shifts to assist operations in achieving targets through the execution of routine maintenance and mechanical machine repairs in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Manages work completed by hourly staff in compliance with all federal, state and local environmental and safety regulations
  • Monitors and assigns work orders and ensure proper documentation and timely closure
  • Conducts department and / or shift meetings with employees frequently to communicate company information, audit updates, production updates and safety updates
  • Provides technical input and assist with coordination and training of outside contractors
  • Assists with long-range maintenance planning and performance improvement. Interface with line personnel and management regarding key maintenance issues impacting production.
  • Ensures colleagues are trained and performing role efficiently within the appropriate procedures, specifications and standards.
  • Schedules staffing, optimizing labor available to meet required product demands within budgeting guidelines, communicating with and recommending actions to leadership as needed.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, Warehouse and other personnel to ensure consistent share of information
  • Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all types of industrial machinery including CNC's, tsune saws, mabco bender, heat treat oven, etc
  • Champions a safety culture by aiding in the establishment of safety rules and instructions. Adheres to safety requirements. Reports events to HR Manager and ensures events are contained and appropriate steps are taken to mitigate risk to people, product and manufacturing environment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve operational uptime and equipment life
  • Experience interpreting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic blueprints.
  • Develop and implement TPM systems
  • Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes and standards
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
  • Assists manager with special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Education and/or prior maintenance experience required for this role.
  • Prior experience to include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, heat treat systems. Provide support to the manufacturing process including operating, maintaining, troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
  • Perform PMs and ability to implement corrective solutions to ensure robust and reliable operations.
  • Associates degree or minimum 3+ years prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and 1+ years of demonstrated leadership
  • Degree or at least 2 years’ prior experience in maintenance, machine repair, troubleshooting in an industrial or related environment.
  • Must have 2 years’ experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics, instrumentation and other mechanical systems
  • Must be familiar with OSHA regulations for industry and safe work practices
  • Prior experience in aluminum extrusion and fabrication a plus


  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Must be able to qualify on Hilo, scissor lift or other similar machinery in order to complete necessary tasks
